Just had another call with a candidate who was in the rain, under scaffolding, with fire truck sirens blaring on Fifth Ave. Understandably, it's difficult to schedule a conversation like this when you have a full-time job and family. It's okay to reschedule it. Or, be prepared to frame the conversation differently. For example, say, "Let's quickly talk about my resume as it relates to the job opportunity, and if it makes sense to dive deeper, we can schedule a follow-up call." Or, just reschedule.
