Our Story
Royal Braun's founder, Ben Duhl, launched the business combining two professional passions: creative production and scouting for talent.
Originally from the Chicago area, Duhl’s journey began in theater, producing a UK touring show with the Oxford University Dramatic Society.
In NYC, he worked under an accomplished salesperson and soon found himself on notable sets—like a Gillette commercial with Tiger Woods and Federer or serving champagne to Kate Moss in a Sofia Coppola-directed White Stripes video. These experiences sparked his fascination with talent matchmaking and reinforced his belief that good business is the best art.
From pitching Interscope Records to support Lady Gaga’s early vision to assembling teams for Nike Sportswear and activating NYC’s downtown scene, Ben eventually leaned into headhunting. Early on, he saw that high taste and cultural relevance were key to success, recruiting for top creative directors like Andy Spade and Doug Lloyd and agencies like 72 & Sunny.
From there, brands, publishers, platforms, and networks came calling. With a commitment to over 100 clients, Ben has built a network across advertising, media, tech, entertainment, and brand, architecting teams that drive lasting impact.
