There is too much emphasis on resumes when I talk to on-the-market talent. For senior-level talent, it doesn't matter as much as you think. If you're submitting through a job engine (Indeed, etc.), having the right keywords matters. But if you're networking for your next job (or getting recruited), it doesn't really matter. Resumes are just facts and figures. I think you should spend more time on your LinkedIn profile than on your resume, and even more time on your case studies.
Take the time to do this: think about the 3-4 sentences you write for your colleague to copy/paste into the email introduction to your next employer. See if you can position yourself and your value in these few sentences.
