Resumes are dates, places, facts, and figures that tell the story. I always encourage candidates to include where you were, when you were there, and what you achieved (quantify wherever possible). Portfolios are where you show the story. Consider ordering your portfolio as you would tell your career story—a journey of learning and acquiring experience. Too often, I see portfolios that are a jumble of work with no cohesion or narrative.
